Great day at HSTA
I was thrilled to have been invited to deliver the keynote speech for the Haliburton School of the Arts Convocation today in Haliburton. It was especially fun since one of the grads was my friend John Leonard who I have known since we graduated from Ontario College of Art in 1969.
very cool brian, i didn't realize you went to OCA[D] with john. i remember when i was younger, my mom talking about going to "john's class" in a way that took on a somewhat mythical impression. the fact that it was called JOHN's class instead of a more specific name, implied that, clearly, there was something special about this john character :)
